One Good Deed

am with my 8-year old nephew steven at powerbooks-megamall yesterday when a text message from a non-familiar number appeared in my cellphone.

M a r u j a: Denis?
+639209113xxx: this is mon
M a r u j a: wow mali. wrong sending.
+639209113xxx: ooops sorry…whos this pls?
M a r u j a: Maruja
+639209113xxx: hi maruja! sorry i disturbed u… thanks!
M a r u j a: Np mon. It always happens. ur welkam.

di lang minsan nangyari sa kin yung may naliligaw na text messages sa selpon ko. ganito ginagawa ko pag may nareresib ako. iniisip ko muna kung importante ang laman ng naligaw na text na yun. dedma ko lang pag dehins importante. at kung meron naman at kung may load din lang ako eh binabalik ko or pinagsasabihan ko yung me ari ng numero na nagkamali sya ng pagpapadala at kung pwede check nya yung tamang number. kakaawa naman kasi pag di mo ipinaalam sa nagpadala na naliligaw yung mensahe nya. lalo na pag nagtatanong ang message at tipong kelangan ng sagot.

it was just a small deed pero it was good. what matter most is … i did one small good deed to a fellow yesterday. and i’m proud of it.

bonus/reward: Mon called for 20 minutes kanina and i just won a new friend.
