Akon, whose real name is Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam (watta name!) often shortened to Aliaune Thiam was born October 14, 1981. He was here in the Philippines and had his concert at a full packed Araneta Coliseum last November 2007 and yes, I did not watch him. Ha ha!
