Sew Proud

February 7th, 2008

I am proud of my sewing skill for it brings out my talent and creativity in me. I remember back in high school when I selected Dressmaking as my vocational subject. I am full of pride to say that I have experienced how to sew delicate baby dresses, laced blouses, skirts, pants, elaborate curtains, and ruffled pillowcases. I even sew my own school uniform and my graduation dress when I finished high school.

Of course I know how to run a sewing machine, be it manual or automatic sewing machine. I can make the different style of stitches. Back in our school, we usually use Singer sewing machine because of its known durability and versatility. In fact, I own one unit of Singer sewing machine and I am keeping the unit up to this year – still in perfect condition. I received the Singer sewing machine as my sister’s graduation gift to me.
