Three things in our home my kids and I cannot live without:

1. Personal computer
2. Cell phone
3. Television.

Personal computer - I got one and hundred reasons why owning this piece of innovation is no longer a luxury. It already transformed as a necessity to me. See, no computer? No blog.

Cell phone – I am sure every one of us will agree that it is difficult to imagine living in this world today without one unit of cell phone.

Televisions – Having at least one television in a filipino household is very common. I owe TV a lot. When Kevin and Keziah were toddlers, television was my baby-sitter. Now, I do not think my kids and me can live without television.

I remember this device; this is my sis-in-law Angie’s Christmas gift to my brother Evan last December - a digital blood pressure monitor. My brother has been diagnosed with hypertension and been advised to watch his BP regularly for the reason that hypertension when left untreated can cause heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. He need to have this blood pressure monitor because the only way for him you to know if he has normal, high or low blood pressure is to have it measured. Angie preferred to buy digital blood pressure monitor because not only it is the most popular measuring device but also it is automatic and is easier to use than the aneroid unit. The measurement is easy to read since the numbers are shown on a screen. This type of blood pressure monitoring device is recommended best for hearing-impaired patients also, since there is no need to listen to heart sounds through the stethoscope.

I am proud of my sewing skill for it brings out my talent and creativity in me. I remember back in high school when I selected Dressmaking as my vocational subject. I am full of pride to say that I have experienced how to sew delicate baby dresses, laced blouses, skirts, pants, elaborate curtains, and ruffled pillowcases. I even sew my own school uniform and my graduation dress when I finished high school.

Faucets are probably one of the hardest working fixtures in our home. Particularly the faucet in the kitchen sink where we sees plenty of action in the most active room of the house.
