A View From Heaven

My youngest brother Evan was in tour to Canada last year. As expected, he went home here in the Philippines not only with balikbayan boxes full of stuffs but with interesting stories as well. He did not miss to share us his one experience, the visit to the most memorable landmark of Toronto – The CN Tower.

CN Tower is 1,815 feet high and was designed by architect, John Andrews in 1976. According to my brother, it is one of the great sights in Toronto that travelers to Canada should not dare miss.

I have seen the pictures – the tower is awesome. It is said as world’s tallest freestanding structure and it is truly impressive.

Evan said that he and his friends took the option of taking the elevator to the very top of the tower to get the better view where there is a glass floor and an outdoor observation deck. It was a clear day when they went there, their timing was good because they can even see the famous Niagara Falls from the observation deck! My brother and his friends, they’re two-thumbs up for this locale, they even described it as almost a view from the heaven.

So if you are visiting Toronto, have some time and visit this most memorable landmark – CN Tower.
