One idea on what to wear during a Halloween or costume party.
Dress like a cowgirl!
Here’s how:
- One: Have a fit with a genuine brown, black or gray cowboy hat. Wool felt hats are in fashion in winter and straw cowboy hats are in fashion during summer. A real cowgirl always own more than one hat.
- Two: Pull out a pair of worn-looking jeans from the back of your closet, preferably Levi’s or Wrangler’s jeans.
- Three: Buy a long sleeve, button-down oxford western wear ladies western wear with two breast pockets. This can be a solid color shirt, plaid or striped. Make sure it is well ironed and wrinkle-free.
- Four: Wear black, brown or gray leather handcrafted cowgirl boots and better match it on what colour your hat is.
- Five: Wear a western bolo tie, a cord with a decorative clasp that goes around the neck and is worn like a necktie. You can’t get anymore cowgirl than the bolo tie.
- Six: Sport on a leather belt in a color to match your boots and hat, and a huge silver belt buckle, preferably with your name or initials on it, and you are there.
