Exploration and play is an essential part of every child’s development, but some things can be dangerous and as a parent we should take simple safely precautions by making our home a safer place to protect our babies and toddlers.

- When using a pram, bouncing cradles, carrycots, pushchair or highchairs always secure the baby with safety belt baby seat.
- Ensure all stair carpet is firmly secured, and that trailing flexes are securely cable clipped, to prevent falls.
- Use electrical outlet cover for electrical sockets when not in use.
- Sharp corners on tables, shelves and units can be cushioned by easy-to-use rounded shapes, to prevent nasty knocks or bangs.
