Even before my first pregnancy, baby names that starts with letter “K” already fascinates me. I don’t know why I’m so keen of letter “K”. I don’t know why I find it too appealing. Consequently, that’s the reason why my children are named Kevin Khalil and Keziah Luz.
Kevin Khalil - I was once a die-hard fan of Hollywood’s Kevin Costner. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched his 1991 (my son was born on same year) blockbuster movie Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves. Kevin is followed with a name Khalil, in honor to his Muslim grandfather who is also named Khalil.
Keziah Luz – I took the name of my daughter Keziah from my favorite book in the Bible, the Book of Job. Keziah is the second daughter of Job. (Job 42:14 – “He named the first Jemimah, and the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch.” - New American Standard Bible). The second name after Keziah which is Luz, it means LIGHT. Luz named also after Lucy, a very close friend of mine back in Dubai whose generosity and kindness shown to me is unforgettable.

My 7 month old baby’s name is Karen. Last minute namin nakuha name nya,kasi di kami mag-agree ni hubby sa aming list and while pregnant we didn’t know kung girl or boy.My husband found Karen’s name sa corridor ng hospital where portraits of different women were displayed.we both like it, and the name suits her well
