Convenience. That is what I like best with online banking. Online banking sites never closes; it is open round the clock. If I want to access and manage my bank savings account, request for an updated financial statement and if I want to schedule the payment of my utility bills – all is possible with only a mouse click away.
I just recently discovered ING direct. I love it, it is so easy to sign up. Transfers of money are made easy, and let’s not forget they pay higher interest than some of the major banks. I am using them for my long term savings where I need to have some access to my money, while gaining higher interest.
