I baked this yesterday.
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa ( I use Bensdorp)
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp light syrup
- 1/2 tsp creme de cacao (optional)
In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the remaining ingredients.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Sliced into square bars. Pagkahiwa pa lang…op kors, ako ang unang lumafang.
Wrapped individually and kept the rest in an empty ice cream tin.
I have these ready in our dining table (wish ko lang na sana umabot hanggang weekend) for my kid’s after-school instant snack.
