(1.) Keep doors and windows locked and shut at night.
(2.) Keep all cell phones charged especially at night. Keep the cell phone in the bedroom with you. An intruder might disable your house phones, making it impossible for you to call for help.
(3.) Keep an easy access emergency numbers in your cell phone or posted next to your land line phone.
One of the favorite places in a house is the living area or living room. The word living comes from the word life thus it is the living room that breathes life into a home. It is the main artery of the house, which mirror also the person’s personality.
A home is never complete without a space where one can relax, receive and entertain visitors, converse or just simply do nothing!
The presence of modern furniture in a home says so much about the individual who lives there. From the choice of colors, the textures, and designs of modern furniture: when being put all together in a home, it is not only defining the person’s unique style but generally reflects a part of someone’s lifestyle too.

I don’t have a house helper at home. As a solo parent of two teenagers, I have a hectic schedule of doing the house chores alone that is why I make use of whatever extra time I have to organize the household – be it just 20 or 30 minutes.
Before I retire to bed, I do one or two small task like straightening throw pillows scattered in the living room, returning DVDs to their cases, or sorting out the contents of lockers or storage cabinets. I want all lockers be really organized to make our things easier to find. It is important too that the lockers have many compartments and shelves. Organizing a cabinet or locker is a challenge, but you can do it if you organize your thoughts before you act.
