Himutok

Small Bumps

Lately I can see small bumps that come out on my daughter’s face which I suspect are – acne. Well, normally teens get acne because of the hormonal changes that come with puberty. As a mom I  advised her to wash her face always when she gets home from school and I also bought her an [...]

Two Expectant Fathers

Co-bloggers Badoodles of Kwentong Barbero and RJ of A.R.D.Y.E.Y.T.O.L.O.G.Y. are blogosphere’s soon-to- be new daddies. I can just imagine the excitement of these two guys in the coming of their new bundle of joy. How I wish I am there to see the joy in their faces while holding their newborn as he/she looks at the world [...]

Nenok

May Mga Paraan Kung Gugustuhin

Naknampating! Naghahapunan [...]

Buntot Mo, Hila Mo

Usap-usapan ngayon sa mundo namin sa showbisniz (lols!) ang maaga at madaliang pagpapakasal sa May 28 ng 18-year old Inah Revilla, daughter ni Senator Bong Revilla at Lani Mercado.
Howel, eh kasi buntis nga daw. Hehe! Chismax galore to-its! Medyo nakakagulat kasi the last time i saw Inah Revilla sa tv ay yung footage ng debut [...]

Kid’s Costume Party

As a stay-at-home mom, I am very hands-on for Kevin and Keziah’s birthdays especially when they were toddlers. During their birthdays, I personally pay attention to every little detail from the design of invitation cards, setting up our home, decorating our backyard down to buying of party favors or the goody bags for giveaways.

Single-Parenting

Raising a family is difficult enough. But it’s even more difficult for single parents struggling to make ends meet. They don’t need more obstacles. They need more opportunities. - Bill Richardson
I am a single mom and I can’t think of any other task that requires more courage and strength than single parenting. It’s not just [...]

Dahil Sa Nanay Ako

The famous French author Victor Hugo tell this story.
It was during the French Revolution in 1700. A mother and her 2 children were driven from their home. They wandered through the woods and fields for several days, living in roots and leaves. On the 3rd morning they hid in some brunches but 2 soldiers flushed [...]

My Son’s Epistle

I’ve posted this once in my old Friendster blog. This is my son’s reply to the letter that i gave him when he attended their school’s Search-In/Retreat Program held a year ago. I sent the letter careof his spiritual adviser from La Salle, Brother Rey.

it’s our day, supermoms!

We call them by different names. I, for one, use the word, Nanay. Some people refer to them as Nanang; some name them Inang.
They are our mothers, and we call them with names that could best represent their loving care. It started with the term Ina, which is the [...]

Before I was a Mom,I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. [...]
