Asbestos Exposure

Homeowners who are into renovation and repair of their homes must be informed of the risk and danger of being exposed to asbestos. The cutting and grinding of floor tiles for example, it could release asbestos fibers into your home which may result fibers to lodge in your lungs.

More On Asbestos Exposure

I have posted an entry earlier last week of how hazardous the asbestos exposures to a man’s health that may lead to an illness like Mesothelioma cancer.

I just wanted to add that it is somewhat scary to think if diagnosed to have that kind of exposure because as of this time there is no known cure for malignant Mesothelioma cancer yet. Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, are still the most common available for Mesothelioma treatment. Check this link for more info help about Mesothelioma.

Asbestos Exposure

Beware of asbestos, people.  

Asbestos is toxic. To those people who are exposed of too much asbestos in their workplace, in their communities, or in their homes are in risk to have serious health problem in the future.

What is Asbestos? According to Wikipedia, Asbestos is a naturally occurring silicate mineral with long, thin fibrous crystals. 

I have learned that if tiny asbestos are released into the air, and if fibers are breathed in, they may be trapped in the lungs that may develop to an illness like Mesothelioma cancer.  Click here for more information about Mesothelioma.
