I always embrace change. Whenever a chapter of my life closes, I look forward to the next. Some endings certainly bring about change and how change affects us depends on how we accept it.
For parents who are currently in the middle of crisis in sending their loved ones to drug treatment centers, I know it is not easy surrendering your child for drug treatment. I feel you for I myself is a parent too. But the bad habit, the addiction has to end. Just bear the sacrifices for you to be able to see good results.
To paraphrase the lines of an old Randy Crawford song: “If you’re not afraid of what life brings, then endings are beginnings of beautiful things.”
