Recipe: Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Hindi ko ma-gets kung bakit may word pa na ‘vanishing’ ang oatmeal cookies recipe na ‘to.  (yun ang nakalagay sa pinagkopyahan ko.)

Pero wala na akong panahon para pag isipan pa ng malalim ang posibleng dahilan kung bakit ganun dahil sa totoo lang – wala ako pakialam! Lol!

Ginupit ko lang naman ang kopya ng recipe na ‘to galing sa box ng Quaker oatmeal.

Impernes mas gusto ko tong recipe na to kesa dun sa previous post ko ng oatmeal raisin cookies. Hindi kasi over sa dami ang kailangan na sugar. Kaya hindi nakakaumay din.

Sure akey, masusundan agad ang pag bi-bake ko ng cookies na ‘to. Yes, agad-agad!

  VANISHING OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:

1/2 cup, plus 6 tablespoon butter, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 up raisins

  1. Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda,cinnamon and salt, mix well. Add oats and raisins, mix well.
  2. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  4. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
  5. Makes 4 dozen.
