No More Standby Mode

Only recently I have learned that the single most important cause of computer’s components to fail is because of HEAT. Too much internal heat will make PC fail faster than it normally would. I can no longer live without my computer. Seriously, I have to take extra care of my PC parts, especially that it is not only motherboards are costly to buy now, video cards too! From now on I am going to avoid putting my computer into standby mode if I won’t be using it. I will rather have it turned off because I was told that putting my computer into standby mode doesn’t give my computer a chance to cool down at all.

Haste Makes Waste

With the current shape of the economy globally, upgrading your video card just to keep abreast on the hottest computer games may not be a good decision. I mean, there is nothing wrong on making some computer enhancement, of course.

However, there is an old adage that “haste makes waste” if you do not educate first yourself even just a little bit into choosing a new video card. Knowing first what you really need for your pc may end you up saving yourself a lot of money.

Need Replacement

Our desktop computer is out of order since last month. The system’s power supply finally gave up, therefore now I am bound to shell out money to get our desktop pc working again.  Grrrr!

However, I am thankful that I am going to replace the power supply unit only and not the video card. As we all aware, video cards are more costly to buy than the power supply.
